Colours well they look beautiful in different shades of
paint, but I was atrocious at painting. So the next best place where I could
get lost in colours was at my establishment admits my fabrics. I would see silk
and just get immersed in colours. Colours glisten when it’s silk fabric. Also I
would roam around in Chandni Chowk in the ‘katras’ and see bangle shops and get
attracted by the different colours and designs they offered.
Then I grew up and got interested in photography, the lenses
captured colours in nature; specially the shades of green on trees and plants
after the rain or the changing hues of the sky during that time. The flowers
looked prettier and their colours glowed.
I would see my nieces and their friends on their parties
dressed in fineries all looking like princes and princesses, but all dressed so
colourfully. Children clothing comes in such vibrant colours that it is just so
captivating.
I love sports specially basketball, cricket and football.
It’s fun to see the NBA and the different colours of the team uniforms. They
are all so lively. When you’re talking about lively, the crowds during a
football match and a cricket match are so lively; all so energetically dressed
up cheering their favourite team. Wearing the same uniform, or painting their
faces to match the team. Some people even carry flags of the team they are
cheering, just filling the stadium with colour.
What’s a life without colours? Just a blank canvas
